Ideas during the retreat can be written here.

Ideas

  • For routing, we have both interior and border routing protocols. Does something similar apply to energy? UC Berkeley might have a very different interface with PG+E than a building has with the campus; appliances might not talk to my house the same way my house talks to the electric company.
  • Peering expresses useful network policies -- can we do something similar with power?
